Ross Stripling Named NL All-Star

According to Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ross Stripling has been named to the National League All-Star.

Stripling is a former 5th round pick of the Dodgers in the 2012 MLB Draft. Stripling has spent his entire career with the Dodgers making the majors in 2016.
So far this year Stripling has been a staple in the Dodgers rotation. He has posted a 7-2 record with a 2.22 ERA in 13 starts and 24 appearances.
He has pitched in 89.1 innings and has struck out 103 batters while allowing 83 hits. This will be the first time that Stripling has been named an All-Star.
