Rockets Travel To Hollywood To Take On Lakers
- Updated: December 17, 2015
The Houston Rockets will travel to Hollywood to take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. Los Angeles is coming off an impressive win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.
For Houston things haven’t gone as planned so far this season. Their slow start prompted the firing of head coach Kevin Mchale. Their defense has been non existent and James Harden has not played at the level he played at last year.
To make matters worst for Houston, there have been rumblings that Dwight Howard isn’t happy in Houston due to the amount of touches he is getting on offense. Sound like a familiar story?
Houston is starting to sound more Hollywood than Los Angeles. But to take all that into consideration the Rockets come into this game with a 12-14 record.
Harden is leading the team in scoring at 29 points per game and Howard is second on the team at just 12.6 points per game.
The club brought in Ty Lawson this summer and was suppose to be that final piece to the puzzle but that hasn’t worked out too well.
For Los Angeles D’Angelo Russell has came alive as of late. Russell’s play with Julius Randle has gave Laker fans something to be proud about.
The Lakers are seeking their fifth win of the season in a season that will be remembered only for Kobe Bryant and his final ride.
