The Houston Rockets stunned the Los Angeles Clippers using a 40 point fourth quarter to force a game seven winning 119-107. Just a few days ago the Clippers were up 3-1 in the series and now we’re heading to a game 7 in Houston.

Blake Griffin and the Clippers were cruising before they took their foot of the gas. Griffin had 28 points and 8 rebounds but showed limited production in the 4th quarter.

Chris Paul almost had a triple-double but it wasn’t enough. He had 31 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds. J.J. Redick struggled with just 15 points. Jamal Crawford and DeAndre Jordan failed to reach double figures.

On the other hand James Harden was the story. He struggled in the game to the point where the Rockets were better off without him. They didn’t use him in the 4th quarter rally. He had 23 points in the victory.

Dwight Howard had a 20-20 game with 20 points and 21 rebounds. Josh Smith was the difference maker as he connected on 4 three pointers to help lead the rally.

Terrence Jones had 16, and Corey Brewer added 19 as the Rockets completely outplayed the Clippers in the 4th quarter 40-15.

The Clippers will try to rebound and win the series the hard way in game 7 in Houston. That game will take place on Sunday afternoon as the Clippers look to head to their first Western Conference Finals in franchise history.
