According to Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com the Los Angeles Kings have actived Robyn Regehr and placed Martin Jones on the injury reserve.

Regehr went down with an upper body injury before Christmas and has been out of the lineup since. Reports began to circulate that he was ready to go last week, but he took a few extra days to make sure he was ready to roll.

Regehr spoke to lakingsinsider.com about the matter.

“So I was just working at getting strength back as much as I could and also mobility, too. When you immobilize something for a little while it stiffens up and wasn’t moving quite the way it needed to.”

The Kings are excited to welcome back into the lineup tonight as they take on the Calgary Flames.  Tonight will be a big matchup for both teams as the Kings look forward to ending their recent slump.

In order to make room for Regehr the Kings place Martin Jones on the injury reserve. Jones spoke to lakingsinder.com about his injury situation.

“It was more of just a bad spasm initially,” Jones said. “It’s calmed down a lot and now it’s just to the point where it’s getting everything around it to – the muscles in the hips and the hamstrings – moving correctly and getting mobility back.”

Get ready Kings fans tonight should be a good one!
