Robbie Erlin: Transferred To 60-day DL

According to AJ Cassavell of MLB.com the San Diego Padres have placed pitcher Robbie Erlin on the 60-day disabled list.

The San Diego Padres reported last week that Erlin would undergo Tommy John surgery to repair UCL.

Erlin is a former third round pick of the Texas Rangers in the 2009 MLB Draft. He has spent his entire MLB career with the Padres. In 2015 he appeared in three games and posted a 4.76 ERA.
This year he appeared in three games and posted a 1-2 record. In his 15 innings of a work he posted a 4.02 ERA. With Erlin out the Padres have to have someone step up and fill the void in the rotation.
