Tuesday night did not go as the Los Angeles Clippers had planned. After breaking out to a scorching hot start while league-leading Golden State faltered, the Clippers lost their momentum and eventually the game. The Jamal Crawford-less bench play certainly didn’™t help matters for the already depth-challenged Clippers but neither did the MVP chants echoing throughout the stadium for Stephen Curry. For those of you who don’t know, this game was as Staples Center.

The Clippers faithful always seemed to be the only team I have ever seen that is fine with being overmatched sound wise in their own arena, as long the away team is the Lakers. I’ve been to my fair share of Clippers home games versus the Lakers and I get it, LA is a Laker town, everybody knows that. But, why now are Clipper fans thinking it’s fine for any team to come in and make Staples their building for the night. It’s embarrassing.

Just in case you haven’™t heard by now, Blake Griffin threw the Clippers fans under the bus after Tuesday nights loss to Golden State stating, œ”Home court advantage is just not there for us. If that’™s how it feels in the playoffs, it’s not looking good.” Honestly, I don’™t blame Griffin for those comments at all. Watch one playoff game in the NBA and tell me the crowd doesn’t make a difference. I’™ll call you a liar.

It’s time to get over the inferiority complex Clipper fans. Is it a Laker town? Sure it is, we’re only 16 championships behind. But when the Lakers are competing for the lottery and the Clippers are fighting for playoff dominance a change in the fan base needs to be shown. Lakers or not this fan base needs to make it known whose building that is when it is draped in red and blue.

When your team calls you out, you need to step up. Do I really need to remind Clipper fans of the embarrassment of riches we now have compared to just a few seasons ago? Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan could be in their final season together as one of the league’s most dominating trios as Jordan could leave at the end of this season in free agency. Doc is catching hell for poor managing tactics and Steve Ballmer is still dancing his ass off courtside.

What are we waiting for Clippers fans? This is it! Let this team and every team know that when they walk into Staples and it says Clippers on that floor this is our court. This team can only play so hard without our support, we knew Lob City couldn’t last forever guys. Lobs don’™t win championships teams do, and teams with this much talent deserve their city and their fans backing them up. Lets go Clipper nation time to get up! #RiseClipperNation
