Rakell is a former first round pick of the Ducks in the 2011 NHL Draft. He has spent his entire career with the club recording his highest point production last season.
Rakell appeared in 72 games last season recording 20 goals and 23 assists. He averaged a career high 16:04 average time on the ice. The Ducks forward should be able to make some contributions to the Sweden team if he is able to recover in time.
