Bolch also reported his thoughts on why Paul Pierce may not be starting for the Clippers this year.
Wesley Johnson starting may be more about what Paul Pierce can do with second unit than Wesley with the starters.

Johnson made the transition from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Clippers this summer. He was part of the Clippers revamp and many expected Johnson to come off the bench behind Pierce. Lance Stephenson was also added this summer and he suffered a minor injury yesterday.
Bolch reported the news.
Clippers said Lance Stephenson (pubic bone inflammation) came out of practice ok but his game status won’t be known until after shootaround.
