Report: Josh Hamilton Vetoed Trade To Another Club

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports former Los Angeles Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton vetoed a trade another club that would have landed him outside of the Texas Rangers.

We all know that Hamilton wanted to return to Texas but this news confirms that the Rangers might be the only place that will work for the former MVP.
Rosenthal also reported that the Angels will responsible for the entire buyout if Hamilton decides to opt out of Texas.

The Angels are forced to pay a majority of Hamilton’s contract. Rosenthal reported the Rangers will be paying less than 7 million dollars over the next three years for his services.

We will have to wait and see how Hamilton produces now that he is back in Texas. Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported that Hamilton will begin workouts with Rangers in Arizona on Tuesday .
