Report: Cory Rasmus Out 6-8 Weeks

According to Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com Los Angeles Angels pitcher Cory Rasmus is out 6-8 weeks due to a core injury.

Rasmus was considered to be the favorite to land a spot in the Angels bullpen leaves a spot wide open. Gonzalez reported who might replace Gonzalez in the bullpen.
Two open spots in the bullpen now. I think Pestano gets one of them. Lindstrom, an XX(B) free agent, looks like a strong candidate, too.

Rasmus has spent the last two season with the Halos. Last season he posted a 3-2 record with a 2.57 ERA. He provided great support to the rotation after Garrett Richards went down with injury last season.
