According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles pitcher Andrew Heaney will likely begin the season in Triple-A.
Somewhat educated guess: #Angels open with Drew Rucinski, Jose Alvarez in bullpen, Andrew Heaney and Nick Tropeano at triple-A.

Heaney is the Angels top pitching prospect and was acquired this offseason in the from the Dodgers in the Howie Kendrick trade. He has struggled this spring allowing 13 runs in 14 innings.
The Angels will start the season with a four man rotation according to DiGiovanna.
#Angels will open season with four starters and 12 pitchers. Won’t need fifth starter until April 14.

DiGiovanna also reported the projected rotation until Garrett Richards returns from injury.
Rotation order for #Angels, as of now, will be Jered Weaver, CJ Wilson, Matt Shoemaker, Hector Santiago.

The Angels should be okay to start the season as Richards as be rehabbing quite well. The Angels will face off against the Seattle Mariners on the road on Opening day.
