With the injury Pujols may not be ready to go come opening day. If he is not ready C.J. Cron would probably take on the first base duties. Pujols has been one of the most consistent players in baseball when it comes to playing. ESPN Stats & Info reported that only Ichiro Suzuki has played in more games since 2001.
