Reds Sign OF Ben Revere

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the Cincinnati Reds have signed former Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim outfielder Ben Revere to a one-year deal.

Revere is a former first-round pick of the Minnesota Twins in the 2007 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, Washington Nationals, and Angels throughout his career.
With the Angels last season Revere played in 109 games and hit .275. He had 13 doubles and 21 stolen bases on the season.
He also had 1 home run and 20 RBI’s for the Halo’s. Revere will continue to try and reestablish value with another one-year contract.
Revere’s best season came in 2014 when he led the National League in hits with 184 and stole a career-high 49 bases. Revere also hit .306 that season with Philadelphia.
Revere was known for his speed on the bases.
