Red Hot Ducks Take On Oilers

@AnaheimDucks

The red hot Anaheim Ducks take on the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night. Anaheim is playing some of their best hockey of the year and are coming off a 6-4 win last night.

Edmonton comes into this game with 22-29-6 record while Anaheim sports a 28-19-8 clip. The Oilers have lost four out of the last five games and this could be a great time for the Ducks to win on back to back nights.

Teddy Purcell could miss this game for the Oilers due to an undisclosed injury. John Gibson did not dress in Ducks win last night so it will be interesting see what the goaltender situation will be tonight.

Edmonton has most prized young prospect in the game today Connor McDavid. Was the number one pick in the 2015 NHL draft and missed an extensive period of time due to injury.

The Oilers are led by Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl. Hall has 50 points on the season, 18 goals and 32 assists. Draisaitl is second on the team with 40 points on the year, 14 goals and 26 assists.

The second night of back to backs are always tough especially when the game is played with as much energy was played with yesterday.

We’ll have to see if the Ducks and mustard up the necessary energy for tonight.
