RECAP: Phillies, Surprise The Dodgers, 7-2

Chad Billingsley (1-2), picked up his first win of the season, as the Philadelphia Phillies pick up a rare win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-2.
Billingsley had some mixed emotions as he returned to Los Angeles, for the first time to face his former team. He pitched six full innings, striking out three and only allowing the Dodgers six hits, for the win. This was his first win in two seasons, after coming back from battling injuries.

Phillies Left Fielder Jeff Francoeur led the attack with his sixth homer of the season, off of Juan Nicasio, who took over for starter Brett Anderson (5-5).

Dodgers Catcher Yasmani Grandal, homered for the second straight game, for his fourteenth of the season, a two run shot over the center field wall, for the teams only runs. The team looked very different from the first game, struggling with runners in scoring position, (0-4) and leaving six runners on base.

The two teams will face each other in game three of the four set today, at 7:10 PST. MVP Clayton Kershaw, (5-6, 3.08 ERA) will get the start, he will be matched up against Adam Morgan, (1-1, 2.13 ERA) for the Phillies.
