Recap: Dodgers 1, Reds 0 – Kershaw Bails Out the Dodgers Offense Again

What more can I say, Clayton Kershaw is amazing:

What can you say about a guy who actually took a step back by only striking out 7 and walking one while pitching a complete game shutout with 102 pitches?

Sometimes nothing is appropriate, sometimes you can’t stop talking about it and sometimes all we can just stand in awe of a person’s accomplishment and other times we wonder how long it will be until that person’s back breaks from carrying their team.

Kershaw again went the full 9 in a 1-0 game, at least this time he didn’t have to provide the offense as well as that single run came in the bottom of the 6th after Justin Turner walked, got to second on a throwing error, to third on a single by Adrian Gonzalez and home after Howie Kendrick hit into a double-play. I’m surprised they didn’t go home seeing as it was Kershaw pitching and sometimes all he needs is a single run.

Oh and one more fun stat:

Just amazing. The Dodgers will continue their series with the Reds tonight.
