Recap: Blue Jays 15, Angels 3

The Toronto Blue Jays (68-55) blew out the Los Angeles Angels (63-60) to take the game two of this series. The Angels have allowed 24 runs in their last two games and are just 3 over .500
Blue Jays starting pitcher Marco Estrada (11-7, 3.27 ERA, 5.2 IP, 4 K’s, 5 Hits, 3 ER) (W) had plenty of run support as Angels starter Andrew Heaney (5-2, 3.39 ERA, 3 K’s, 7 Hits, 8 ER) (L) as he struggled.
In the top of the third inning Toronto’s third baseman Josh Donaldson (4-5, 3 R, HR, 6 RBI) hit a three-run home run to left field as the Blue Jays took an early 3-0 lead.
The scoring for the Blue Jays continued in the top of the fourth inning. Toronto scored seven more runs to extend their lead to 10-0. In the bottom of the fourth Angels outfielder David Murphy (1-3 ,RBI) hit an RBI double as Albert Pujols scored. It was 10-1
During the top of the fifth inning Josh Donaldson hit his sixth RBI of the game as it was an RBI double to left field. The Angels scored two more runs in the bottom of the fifth as it was 11-3.
In the top of the eighth inning Toronto scored four more runs as the final score to this route was 15-3. At 12:35 PM PT game three will begin.
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher R.A. Dickey (7-10, 4.14 ERA) will face Angels starter Garrett Richards (12-9, 3.50 ERA) as the Angels look to avoid being swept.
