Randle Record’s First Triple-Double Lakers Fall 116-105

Julius Randle recorded his first career triple-double but it wasn’t enough as the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Denver Nuggets 116-105. With the loss Los Angels falls to 15-57 on the year.

Kobe Bryant had a strong game pouring in 28 points to go along with 4 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson added 20 points and 4 rebounds.

Randle had 13 points, 10 assists, and 18 rebounds on his career night. D’Angelo Russell played 12 minutes before suffering an ankle injury.

Lou Williams scored 14 points off the bench and Brandon Bass added 10. Denver had a balanced attack with multiple players scoring in double figures.

D.J. Augustin led the way with 20 points off the bench. He also added 8 assists and 3 rebounds. Jusuf Nurkic added 18 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds.

Will Barton added 16 points off the bench. Gary Harris and JaKarr Sampson each reached double figures with 13 and 11 points respectively.

Up next for the Lakers they will take on the Washington Wizards on Sunday night at Staples Center.
