Randle Lifts Lakers Over Cavs Sunday Night

Julius Randle scored a career-high 36 points and grabbed 14 rebounds a red-hot Los Angeles Lakers continued their strong play with a 127-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Randle also added 7 assists.

For Cleveland, LeBron James flirted with a triple-double. He had 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Larry Nance Jr. scored 16 points in his homecoming and Ante Zizic reached double figures off the bench with 15 points and 7 rebounds.

Jose Calderon scored 14 points off the bench and Jordan Clarkson scored just 4 points in 16 minutes. For Los Angeles Brook Lopez recorded another solid performance scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 20 points and Kyle Kuzma reported a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Isaiah Thomas added 20 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds in what many people called a revenge game. With the win, Los Angeles improved to 30-36 on the year. This is the first time the club has won 30+ games since 2012.

Up next the club will take on the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night at the Staples Center.
