Randle Has A Big Night, In Lakers 39-Point Loss

@SoCalSports4You

It was a crazy night for the Los Angeles Lakers in Houston. The team loss to the Rockets 139-100, but the good news was the play of Julius Randle.

Randle scored a career-high of 32 points and grabbed eight points to lead all players. The Rockets were led by former Laker guard Lou Williams with 30 points. Williams also hit seven of his nine three-point shots coming off the bench. This was the first time Williams faced Los Angeles since the trade. James Harden recorded his 17th triple-double of the season with 18 points, 12 assists, and 13 rebounds. Both Brandon Ingram and Jordan Clarkson added 18 points, respectively.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS FOR THE LAKERS:

There were no decent numbers in the 39 point loss. The most devastating number was the inability of Los Angeles to hit from the three-point line. Los Angeles shot a season-low of 12% for the game.

NEXT UP FOR THE LAKERS:

Los Angeles (20-48) are heading home to face the “Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks at the Staples Center for a St.Patrick’s Day match-up. The Lakers are now on a three-game losing streak.
