Rams Snap Saints 8 Game Win Streak

The Los Angeles Rams used a big game from Jared Goff and timely defense to hold on to beat the New Orleans Saints 26-20 on Sunday afternoon. Los Angeles snapped a Saints 8-game winning streak.
The offense got started in the first quarter when Goff connected with Sammy Watkins for a 5-yard touchdown. Later in the quarter, Greg Zuerlein hit a 50-yard field goal to push the Rams lead to 10-0. Alvin Kamara put the Saints on the board with a 74-yard touchdown run that cut into the lead 10-7 after the first quarter.
In the second quarter Goff connected with Josh Reynolds for a 7-yard touchdown. Will Lutz hit a 50-yard field goal at the end of the quarter and the Rams led 17-10.
It was Zuerlein hit a 49-yard field goal in the third quarter to push the lead to 20-10. Zuerlein hit another field goal to start the fourth quarter and pushed the lead to 23-10.
Lutz hit a 21-yard field goal in the 4th quarter to cut the lead to 23-13. Zuerlein hit another field to push the lead the 26-13. Drew Bress connected with the Kamara for a 15-yard touchdown but the Saints were unable to complete the comeback.
