Ross Tucker of NBCSN shared his thoughts on Shanahan.
McDaniels is excellent but Kyle Shanahan getting career years out of Schaub, RG3, Hoyer, & Matt Ryan much more impressive to me.

Shanahan’s father, Mike Shanahan was an NFL coach for 19 seasons. He coached the Los Angeles Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Washington Redskins winning two Super Bowls.
Shanahan began his coaching career at UCLA as a graduate assistant before joining Jon Gruden with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent two seasons in Tampa then he made the move to the Houston Texans where he started as a wide receivers coach.
Shanahan worked his way up to offensive coordinator with the Texans before leaving to join his father with the Washington Redskins.
Shanahan spent 2014 with the Cleveland Browns as their offensive coordinator and joined the Falcons in 2015. As more information surfaces on the Rams and their coaching search we will keep you up to date.
