Foles completed 56% of his passes last season and threw for 7 touchdowns in 11 games. He also threw 10 interceptions which is not the Foles that Rams fans were hoping for when the team acquired him in 2014.
By cutting Foles the Rams will pay a steep price but it is clear that the club is confident in rookie Jared Goff and Foles was not open to being the backup.
It’s officially Goff’s team in case anyone was wondering. It should be an excellent season in Los Angeles. As more information surfaces on the Rams and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
