Zuerlein is a former sixth round pick of the Rams back in the 2012 NFL Draft. He has spent his entire career with the club.
After struggling in 2015, Zuerlein had a bounce back year in 2016. He made 86.4% of his field goal attempts and was perfect on extra points. A year ago he was just 66.7 and 92.9 in both of those categories.
Los Angeles was happy with his progression and rewarded him with an extension. As more information surfaces on the Rams and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
