Rams Name Wade Phillips Defensive Coordinator

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com the Los Angeles Rams have named former Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips their defensive coordinator.
Wade Phillips has agreed to terms to become Rams defensive coordinator, per source.

Schefter reported that Phillips was Sean McVay’s top choice for the position.
If Sean McVay lands the Rams’ HC job, his top option for DC would be Broncos DC Wade Phillips, per league sources.

Philips is seasoned veteran as a coach and will provide excellent insight to the Los Angeles Rams’ staff. He has served a head coach for the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys throughout his career.
Philips was part of the Broncos staff that won the Super Bowl last season. He was also named the Assistant coach of the year last season.
