According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com Rajon Rondo has most likely played his last game in a Dallas Mavericks uniform.

Rondo’s run with the Mavericks didn’t go entirely as planned. When he arrived many people believed that the Mavericks we’re going to make a lot of noise in the Western Conference and possibly become the favorites to win the west.

Through confrontations with head coach Rick Carlisle to Rondo not entirely fitting in with the Mavericks system it’s certain Rondo is done with the Mavericks.

He is suffering a back injury is now out indefinitely and it look like he has played his last games in Dallas. So what’s next for the former All-Star?

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo sports Rondo has had his eyes on Los Angeles for quite some time. An excerpt from Wojnarowski follows.

“When Rondo realized his run with the Celtics was over this year, he planned to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers in the summer, league sources told Yahoo Sports. He expected a maximum contract. Once Dallas made the trade, he was open to re-signing with the Mavericks – only there are no max contract offers for Rondo on the market. Not in Dallas, nor Los Angeles. He’s played his way out of that payday – not just this year, but since that terrible ACL injury two years ago.”

Rondo has been planning on signing with the Lakers since last year so is going to still come to Hollywood? Lakers fans do you want Rondo and what kind of contract would you give him?
