Preview: Indiana Pacers vs. Lakers

The Lakers will look to rebound off of their loss to the Portland TrailBlazers tonight as they take on the Indiana Pacers. It will also be the first time the Pacers’ old center will be playing against them. Shoutout to Roy Hibbert!

The Pacers are currently 10-5 and are averaging 115.5 points a game, with 48.6 percentages overall from the field and from 3-point range.

The Lakers on the other hand are on a five game losing streak. Kobe Bryant scored his highest since the season-opener, in the 108-96 loss to Portland. He scored 21 point.

“It’s tough,” Bryant said. “The legs aren’t what they used to be. But I just continue to fight through and take the opportunities when they are there.”

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, the talk of the town revolves around the idea that this may be Kobe Bryant’s last season. At practice, Byron Scott said that it is not his intention to put Kobe on the bench for his “poor playing.”

Although Bryant is shooting a career-worst 31.1 percent from the field and 19.5 percent from 3-point range, Coach said the following:

“I would never, never, never do that. That’s not an option whatsoever. No, that’s not an option.”

So what is Scott’s option? He says to keep him as healthy as possible.

You can watch the Lakers game tonight at 6:30 pm PST.
