Predators Beat Ducks 6-3 To Advance To the Stanley Cup Final

The Anaheim Ducks fell by a score of 6-3 in game 6 of the Western Conference Finals that ended their season. Anaheim was just two wins shy of reaching the Stanley Cup Final. For Nashville this is their first trip to the Finals.
The offense got started in the first period when Austin Watson scored a goal. His goal was assisted by Yannick Weber and Matt Irwin. Later in the period Colton Sissons scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Pontus Aberg that gave the Predators an early 2-0 lead.
In the second period Ondrej Kase scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Ryan Getzlaf and Sami Vatanen to put Anaheim on the board.
In the third period Sissons scored another goal. This time it was assisted by Aberg and Filip Forsberg. Anaheim answered back with a goal from Chris Wagner. His goal was assisted by Nic Kerdiles and Antoine Vermette.
Cam Fowler tied the game with a slap shot goal that had the Ducks fans excited. A few minutes last Sissons scored his third goal of the game this time assisted by Calle Jarkrok and put the Preds back in front 4-3. Forsberg and Watson went on to score empty net goals and the Ducks went on to lose by a score of 6-3.
It was a good season for Anaheim just didn’t end the way Ducks fans would have wanted.
