The Philadelphia 76ers road nightmare continues as the Los Angeles Lakers prevailed, 120-107. Without Ben Simmions and Joel Embiid, in LA, the Sixers are still cannot figure out playing away from the Well Fargo Center (9-23).

Anthony Davis went off in the second quarter, scoring 18 points as the Lakers outscored Philly 37-18 in the quarter to take a 65-54 halftime lead. Davis ended up with 37 points and 13 rebounds and a plus 30 for the game. LeBron added 22 points and 14 assists.

The Sixers were led by Glenn Robinson III with 25 points off the bench as only three of their starters scored less than 20 points. Dwight Howard had a perfect night off the Lakers bench, 4 of 4 from the field and 3 for 3 from the free-throw line.

The next game for the Lakers will be a matchup between the two top teams in the league. The Milwaukee Bucks will travel to Staples Center for the second meeting of the season. In December, the Bucks beat the Lakers 111-104 as Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 34 points and grabbed 11 assists.

The stars will be out on Friday night for this one. Could it be a preview of the NBA Championship series in June? we will see.
