The drama and suspense of this year’s NBA Draft will no longer be a mystery for the top three team’s. The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to swap positions in Thursday night’s NBA Draft.

The Los Angeles Lakers were in talks with the Celtics but were unable to reach any agreement on acquiring the first pick in the Draft.

Several NBA sources which included ESPN’s Marc Spears confirmed this story, that was first reported by TNT’s David Aldridge.

The terms of the trade will be finalized on Monday. The Celtics will receive several draft picks which will include the 76ers first rounder in the 2018 Draft.

The 76ers are expected to Draft Washington guard Markelle Fultz.

The rumors were that if the Lakers and Celtics swapped draft positions, one of the Lakers core players could have been a part of the deal.

With the Lakers remaining with the No.2 spot, the team continued to work out several players including Josh Jackson, De’Aaron Fox, and Lavar Ball with no clear decision on the three players or entertaining the possibility of trading back in the Draft.
