Philadelphia Flyers Vs. Los Angeles Kings Start Time, Preview, TV

The Los Angeles Kings will host the Philadelphia Flyers tonight. While the Kings are coming off a shutout win against the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night, they will look to continue the strong play tonight.

The Los Angeles Kings defenseman, Brandon McNabb has racked up points in the past five of his six games. As a result, McNabb is seeing an increase in minutes on the ice.

“He’s the youngest defenseman on our team and there’s lots of growth there,” coach Darryl Sutter said Friday, according to the Kings website. “And he works at it and he’s coachable and he understands the game, so he’s only going to get better.”

Philadelphia Flyers are coming off one of the best offensive performance in their eleventh game streak which features only one win. They are doing everything they can to avoid a seven game losing streak for the first time since an 0-8-2 skid Feb. 6-23, 2008.

“We’re playing better hockey, and we know if we’re going to start picking up more points as we go along we’re going to have to keep playing this way,” forward Wayne Simmonds said. “It seems like we’re not playing the complete, full 60, but our effort is definitely there a lot more than it was in the previous games.”

While the Kings shouldn’t underestimate the Flyers, they should be able to take a win. Although they beat LA in October, it was on an OT goal, and the Kings should look to put the game away before that.
