Budaj is a former second round pick of the 2001 NHL draft. He spent six years with the Colorado Avalanche and then three years with the Montreal Canadiens.
He was named an All-Star in the AHL this season and it will be interesting to see if he indeed gets the start tonight with Jonathan Quick dealing with an injury.
