The Los Angeles Clippers will host the New Orleans Pelicans tonight. There are quite a few injuries for LA. The following players will be out today Jordan Hamilton, Matt Barnes and Jamal Crawford and Glen Davis is listed as “Day-to-Day.” The Pelicans will make game time decisions for Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans, and Omer Asik.
Chris Paul dominated once again in their matchup against the Washington Wizards as he scored 30 points and had 10 rebounds. Below is an excerpt from their impressive win:
“J.J. Redickscored 26 points, Blake Griffin had 22 and DeAndre Jordan had 23 rebounds and 10 points.
J.J. added to his season total of three-pointers after hitting four tonight. His total is now 162, which breaks teammate Jamal Crawford‘s franchise record of 161. ESPN.com points out that tonight was “Jordan’s 10th 20-rebound game this season.”
The Pelicans have dropped three of their last four games and their star Anthony Davis sat out of Friday’s game. They are currently 37-32 and and are two games behind OKC for their Western Conference playoff spot. This would be a positive note for most teams, but the Pelicans are currently dealing with a lot of injuries and they will have to make some things work if they want to catch up to the Thunder.
