The Los Angeles Clippers were not able to grab hold of a strong lead tonight as they took on the New Orleans Pelicans on the road. The Clippers lost 108-103.

The team was doing well racking up wins all over the map, but with tonight’s loss, the win streak is back to zero. DeAndre Jordan was a great asset tonight.

For the Pelicans, Eric Gordan had a big game hitting 28 points. They prospered off of their learnings from Anthony Davis‘ absence. ESPN.com reports, “The Pelicans are, from behind the 3-point line, hitting 13 of 25, and at the foul line, where they made 23 of 26 free throws, including their last 17.” At the half the Clippers were up 54-53 and by the end of the third they were down:

Chris Paul brought home 24 points for the Clippers, while Blake Griffin added 19 and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 15 rebounds.

ESPN.com reports the following about the game:

Ryan Anderson, starting for Davis, scored 24. He and Gordon each hit five 3s to help New Orleans win for the fifth time in six games.

Alexis Ajinca, getting more minutes with Davis out, had 17 points and nine rebounds. Tyreke Evans had 11 points and tied his season high of 12 assists for the third time in four games.

Blake Griffin added 19 and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 15 rebounds.”

Up next the Clippers will take on San Antonio Spurs tomorrow!
