Paul Pierce Out For “Little While”

According to Arash Markski of ESPN.com Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce will be out for a little while due to an ankle injury.
Doc said Paul Pierce would be out for a bit with an ankle injury but it’s not season threatening.

J.A. Adande of ESPN.com reported that head coach Doc Rivers heard Lakers fans behind him asking if they were going to bring out the wheelchair for Pierce.

Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald reported that Pierce said he will take some time off and be back for the playoffs.
Just talked to Pierce as he headed out of the arena. Smiles and says, “I’m all right. I’ll take my week off and be ready for the playoffs.”
