Paul Pierce Considering Retirement

According to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce is 50-50 on returning to the NBA next season.
Paul Pierce said he didn’t want to make an emotional decision about his future. Said it was 50-50 right now.

Alex Kennedy of Basketballinsiders.com also reported the news.
Paul Pierce is under contract for $3,527,920 next year (with a non-guaranteed salary the following year). He may consider retirement though.

Pierce had one of his worst years of his career. He shot just 36% from the field and played in 68 games. Pierce averaged just 6.1 points per game in a limited role.
Pierce who is originally from Los Angeles, joined the Clippers last offseason in an attempt to win one more championship. He and Doc Rivers won a championship together over the Los Angeles Lakers back in 2009.
