As a Laker fan Pierce was never one of my favorite players but he is one of the most respected guys in the league. He will forever be known as the Truth and for the historic season in 2008 where he helped form the Big Three.
Ray Allen, KG, Pierce, along wit Doc Rivers and Rajon Rondo took the league by storm on their way to the championship. Many people believe that Pierce’s Celtic team helped give LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh the idea to form their own Big Three in Miami.
For now Pierce will focus on the season at hand. Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, and J.J. Redick will do their best to try and capture the club’s first ever NBA Championship and send Pierce out as a champion.
