George who informed the Indiana Pacers last summer that he intended to join the Los Angeles Lakers was traded to the Thunder. With the Thunder George and Russell Westbrook showed flashes of great chemistry but was eliminated in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs to Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz.
Los Angeles has been mentioned as the heavy favorites to land George’s services but there is a growing belief that the Thunder has a chance to re-sign the star.
Los Angeles will have cap space to sign to max players this July.
