Paul George Informs Pacers He Plans To Leave; Prefers Lakers

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical, Indiana Pacers All-Star Paul George has informed the club that he plans to opt out of his contract in the summer of 2018.

It haas long been rumored that George would like to return home to play for his hometown team of the Lakers. George made those plans known yesterday.

Since the news broke the Pacers have been exploring different options for George. Rumors have surfaced that the Pacers have reached out to several teams.

Rumors have also surfaced that the Lakers are not willing to trade Brandon Ingram or the number two overall pick for George right now. What do you think Lakers fans? Should the Lakers go after George now?
