Padres Talk With Jake Peavy

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the San Diego Padres have had discussions with free agent pitcher Jake Peavy.

Peavy is a former 15th round of the Padres in the 1999 MLB Draft. Peavy is a 15-year MLB veteran spending eight years with the Padres at the start of his career.
Peavy has also pitched for the Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, and Giants. Peavy has won a Cy Young award with the Padres as well as being named to the All-Star team.
Peavy won a Golden Glove award as well in his career. Peavy is a fan favorite and the city of San Diego would love for him to return.
