Padres Sign Ronald Bolanos

According to Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union Tribune, the San Diego Padres have signed international prospect Ronald Bolanos to a contract with a signing bonus of 2 million dollars.
The Padres have a ~$2 million agreement to sign Cuban RHP Ronald Bolanos, as @BenBadler said. Now at about $65M in international spending.

Bolanos is a right handed pitcher who is just 20-years of age. At 6’2 and 190 pounds he played in the outfield before making the transition to pitcher a few years ago.
Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com reported the news of the deal.

San Diego has decided to go into the international market a lot more of late. The thinking behind it is that they can build their farm system through the international market and then either the develop the talent for the future or use the assets in the trade market.
