Padres Sign Japanese RHP Kazuhisa Makita

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the San Diego Padres have signed Japanese right-handed pitcher Kazuhisa Makita to a two-year deal.

To be clear, the Solarte trade already opened a roster spot. Rondon’s DFA opens another. Sounds like the Padres will announce another official addition soon. Possibly Kazuhisa Makita.
