Padres Send Colin Rea To Miami Marlins

According to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports the San Diego Padres have traded starting pitcher Colin Rea to the Miami Marlins.
Sources: Marlins getting Andrew Cashner and Colin Rea. In addition to Josh Naylor, Padres expected to receive power RH arm Luis Castillo.

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported further information.
Per source, Marlins also getting pitcher Colin Rea from Padres. So Miami getting two starting pitchers from SD, Cashner and Rea

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports shared some details on Josh Naylor.
Josh Naylor, heading to #Padres, was #Marlins’ 1st rounder in ’15, 12th overall. Just 19, batting .269 with .747 OPS and nine HRs at High A.

Rea is a former 12th round pick of the Padres back in the 2011 MLB draft. He has spent his entire career with the club being called up to the bigs in 2015.
This season with the Padres, Rea has posted a 5-5 record with a 4.98 ERA. He has started in 18 games and recorded 76 strikeouts.
