Padres Select Hudson Sanchez

According to AJ Cassell of MLB.com the San Diego Padres selected Hudson Sanchez with the 24th pick in the 2016 MLB Draft.

JJ Cooper of Baseball America reported some details about what it will take to sign the young prospect.
From what I had heard, Hudson Sanchez was looking for $1 million. If so, Padres just set aside $1.1 for next pick or later picks.

Sanchez is a right hander hitter and expects to getting stronger with age. He currently plays shortstop but experts expect him to move over due to his mobility issues.
