Padres Recall Cory Mazzoni

According to Dennis Lin of the San Diego Tribune, the San Diego Padres have recalled right handed pitcher Cory Mazzoni.
Cory Mazzoni, back in the majors for the first time since 2015, gave up a home run to the first batter he faced. Six homers for the Twins.

The Padres selected reliever Cory Mazzoni. Carter Capps has gone on the 60-day DL because of a blood clot.

Mazzoni is a former 2nd round pick of the 2011 MLB Draft. He has spent a majority of his career in the minor leagues before getting called up to the Majors in 2015.
