Padres Rally Comes Up Short In Toronto

The San Diego Padres rally came up short Monday night against the Toronto Blue Jays as they fell by a score a 4-2. With the loss San Diego has lost four out of the last six games.
For the Frias Colin Rea got the start. He pitched six innings allowing five hits and three runs. He walked four and struck out four in his outing.
On the other side Aaron Sanchez got the start. He lasted for seven strong innings allowing just three hits and no runs. He walked two and struck out seven.
After a quiet start the Blue Jays got on the board first in the fourth inning. Troy Tulowitzki hit a sacrifice to center that brought in Michael Saunders and gave Toronto a 1-0 lead.
Devon Travis added a RBI double in the fifth inning that brought in Kevin Pillar. Josh Donaldson added a RBI single to left center field that gave the Blue Jays a 3-0.
It was Pillar who added a RBI double in the eighth inning to push the lead to 4-0. Alex Dickerson hit a two-run homerun in the ninth inning that brought in Matt Kemp but that would be the only runs the Padres pushed across.
These two teams will continue the series tonight at 4:07 p.m. PST
