Padres Place Robbie Erlin on 60-Day DL

According to Derek Togerson of NBC7, the San Diego Padres have placed left handed pitcher Robbie Erlin on the 60-day DL.
The #Padres selected the contract of RHP Craig Stammen, put LHP Robbie Erlin on the 60-day DL. Another bullpen piece falls in to place.

Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union Tribune also reported the news.

Erlin is a struggling with an elbow injury that will keep him out to start the year. Erlin is a former third round pick of the Texas Rangers in the 2009 MLB Draft.
He has spent his entire major league career with the Padres. Last season he posted a 1-2 record pitching in 3 games, starting in two of them. He also posted a 4.02 ERA.
