Padres Option Manny Margot To Triple-A El Paso

According to Julie Alexandria of FOX Sports San Diego the San Diego Padres have optioned prospect Manny Margot to Triple-A El Paso.

Manuel Margot has been playing well in Spring Training thus far. He is hitting .313 with two doubles and one triple in 18 at bats. Margot spent most of the season in High A and Double AA. There he hit .276 with 6 homeruns and 9 triples.
The plan has always been to put Margot back in the minors for some of this season. As more information surfaces on Margot and his progression we will keep you up to date.
