In yesterday’s press conference Green won over the media. Kevin Ace of the San Diego Union Tribune tweeted his thoughts.
Again, we don’t know anything about how this guy can lead a team, but I’d buy a vacuum from Andy Green. And I don’t need a vacuum.

Green was a two-time manager of the year at the Double-A level. The Padres failed to reach expectations after they brought in tons of talent this offseason.
Green replaces Bud Black who was the skipper since 2007. Black has moved on to the Washington Nationals.
