Padres Ink Tom Wilhelmsen

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, the San Diego Padres have signed free-agent pitcher Tom Wilhelmsen to a minor-league deal.

Wilhelmsen is a former seventh round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2002 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Mariners, Texas Rangers, and Arizona Diamondbacks throughout his career.
Last season with the Diamondbacks he pitched in 27 games and had a 4.44 ERA. He threw in 26.1 innings and struckout 17 batters. He also allowed four homeruns and walked 12 batters.
